In 2018, Sri Krishna Arts and Science College (SKASC) established its Innovation Cell, marking the beginning of an enriching journey. This initiative was inaugurated through the MHRD's Leadership Talk Series, featuring eminent personalities such as Mr. Anand Mahindra and Mrs. Kiran Majumdar Shah. These insightful talks played a pivotal role in instilling an entrepreneurial culture within the young minds of SKASC.

The Institution's Innovation Council (IIC) at SKASC started in 2018 with a team of 7 dedicated faculty members and 300 student participants. Since then, it has witnessed substantial growth, currently comprising 31 faculty members and an impressive cohort of approximately 5695 student members. The swlf-driven activities include Ideathon, Bootcamp, Proof of Concept, Prototype development, and Product Evaluation. In addition, the council has facilitated field visits and incubation visits to further enhance the experiential learning of its participants.

One of the notable contributions of SKASC's IIC is its support for student-driven startups, aiding them in obtaining e-Udyog Aadhar registration. To foster an entrepreneurial spirit, the council has organized a total of 149 workshops and seminars covering topics such as Design Thinking, innovation, Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), Entrepreneurship, and Startup initiatives. These initiatives serve as a motivational catalyst for students, encouraging them to explore their potential as future entrepreneurs.
